It's lovely to hear from Xan and how well she is doing! We have some fond memories of her time here, for example the Extended Visit to York.

I just came to have a look at the website, it's been 10 years since I left Averham and it's changed quite a bit. There wasn't a website for one thing. It's nice to see how the school is doing, I have lots of fond memories. For anyone interested in how I'm doing I'm now at university in Wales studying archaeology, having a great time and doing well at my work. Hope everyone at the school is well.

I thought you may like to know that former pupil Jessica Court has just been voted Head Girl of Kesteven & Grantham Girls School where the most notable previous holder of the position was former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Although it seems a long time ago we all hold very fond memories of Manners Sutton.

Just wanted to say hello! My ancestors are from this town and from Pentrich. Someday I hope to come visit and see the town (and of course the school!) personally. My Great Great grandfather, Samuel, left Darbyshire in 1818 (he was 19) to come to America. England was then suffering through a depression after the Napoleanic Wars and there was little opportunity for him. I have his original birth certificate (1799) that he carried for passage to America framed on my wall. Kind regards to you, my relatives!!
